Dappled Carousel Horse by Bluepegasus Dappled Carousel Horse by Bluepegasus
This was an experiment before I did a carousel pony for someone else, I have learn a lot of things making this one, and it is far from perfect as I had quite a few issues with it, but I am still happy with how it turned out.

This was a pegasus, but I chopped of the wings and sculpted a saddle and blanket to cover the holes. I have sculpted the mane, but used thread for the tail to make it like a traditional carousel horse. I have added a metal pole with ribbons wound round it, and put it on a wooden base.

Thanks for looking!

That actually works VERY well! Nice choice of poses for her!

And good choice of using yarn for the tail instead of nylon or katsilk. It just seems to work better than either of the others would simply because this is a carousel pony.

Thank you so much! I just chopped the wings off with a very sharp knife, it was quite fiddly and I feared for my fingers, but it was ok!

Pretty, does it hurt having a pole through it's body ?

No more than being baked in the oven and having the wings chopped off! She survived though!
